Electrical Part for Forklifts
Forklift Electrical Parts - Lift trucks could be purposely marked to be utilized in unsafe locations. A marked lift truck indicates the design has met the least standards of ANSI/UL 558 for engine powered trucks or ANSI/UL 583 meant for electric lift trucks for the type of label placed.
Applications for marked lift trucks can be found in National Fire Protection Association NFPA 505 - Powered Industrial lift trucks including: Maintenance and Operation, Type Designations, and Areas of Use. Consult your local insurance provider and Fire Marshall for further information about the permitted uses of industrial powered forklifts in your application.
If the forklift has been proven to satisfy the outlined criteria, the following labels can be put. A marked truck will have the type designation put on the forklift nameplate and will have one of the following labels attached.
